With Community

Working With

In my community-engaged public art, I center the same values of connection and exploration that drive my studio practice. Rather than prescribing a specific aesthetic, I approach mural making as a restorative dialogue—utilizing the "WITH" framework to define goals and discover solutions alongside the community.

Because they are direct responses to the communities they live with, these murals are diverse in subject matter, ranging from bold abstraction to figurative storytelling. Whether illustrating personal narratives, environmental advocacy, or cultural history, my role as a facilitator is to ensure the creative process is shared, empowering communities to translate their unique lived experiences into monumental public art.
