WANDER
The Wander series began as a way to pay attention to my surroundings. It is deeply specific to this locality—born from my daily walk to take my kids to school. There is so much in this world that we discard and disregard, but when we slow down and look carefully, we realize that everything around us has purpose. Yes this is litter and forgotten trash, but I also see collections of stories, people, and history. These found objects represent our community, even one in constant motion. Lansdowne influences what I visually consume, influencing how I experience the world as a documentarian of my neighborhood.
